A little history for the cocktail nerds: The Cruise Room opened the day after Prohibition ended in 1933, and its design was inspired by lounges on the RMS Queen Mary. It’s widely recognized as Denver’s longest-running bar, and the preserved Art Deco details (think bas-relief panels and that sleek, “wine-bottle” footprint) live up to the legend. As Denver's longest-running bar, this iconic spot will transport you back to the 1930s with its dark and moody ambiance. The classic decor and red lighting make it truly unique. We were immediately drawn in by the well-curated cocktail menu and Charlotte, our bartender, crafted us some truly wonderful drinks. The Sazerac, in particular, was one of the best we've had in Denver, and the espresso martini was also fantastic! With its delicious cocktails, unique atmosphere, and friendly service, it's no surprise we've been back twice in the last couple of weeks!
