"I finally made it to Eloise a couple weekends ago and it completely lived up to the hype. They focus on brioche and shokupan sandwiches, and the bread alone is enough reason to go. Soft, rich, and comforting without being heavy, it sets the tone for the entire menu. You can tell a lot of care goes into the sandwiches, and the rotating menu makes it feel fresh and exciting. I already want to go back to see what they’re doing next, which is always a good sign. If you’re near Tennyson Street and in the mood for a comforting, well made sandwich, Eloise is an easy recommendation."

"What a wonderful addition to the Tennyson neighborhood! I love how they update their menu weekly it seems and it is a small selection of dishes and offerings they do really great. The shokupan sandwiches are really big! I was not able to eat the other half and took it home. The flavorful egg salad is plentiful and the jammy egg in the middle is a bonus. Vanilla Matcha was so good! My friend got the katsu and loved it. We will be back to try the sweet options soon! If there is a line, it goes by quickly! We took ours to go and ate them on a bench nearby. There are a handful of first come first serve tables inside that you can eat at after ordering as well."

Unfortunately, they were out of porchetta when I arrived, so they improvised with chicken katsu.
