from Google"We ordered the “walk with us” & it was sensational! The service was wonderful and we were even able to chat with the chef. There were flavors and textures I never knew existed. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted absolutely delicious. We both left full and happy with the selection of appetizers and sides as well as the serving sizes for two. note the 22% service charge wasn’t disclosed prior to receiving the check… but if you aren’t able to tip you probably shouldn’t be eating out."
"Amazing experience at Hey Kiddo! This place is perfect for going out with friends and sharing a bunch of delicious food. The cute interior aesthetic is such a vibe, and the service was truly fantastic. The food was incredible across the board. The Pork Ribs & Popcorn Chicken were the definite standouts, and the Red Miso Ice Cream is an absolute must-order dessert. What We Ordered: • Green Cocktail 🍸 • Cucumber Pickle 🥒 • Popcorn Chicken 🍗 • Oysters 🦪 • Pork Ribs 🍖 • Hickory Plum Salad 🥗 • Potato Pave 🥔 • Kimchi 🌶️ • Red Miso Ice Cream 🍨"
"HeyKiddo has always been an establishment with beautiful ambiance, great service, and a few good bites. The consistent savory menu standouts after having been there three times are the chicken liver mousse toast, milk rolls, shaken rice and kimchi. These are always great to enjoy and share - balanced in flavor, not overtly salty, interesting textures and fun to try! It's fun to see what kimchi they have on rotation. Though they've changed from serving a kimchi assortment to just one type. (Unfortunate!) The fried chicken (their main centerpiece created in collaboration with Deuki Hong) is extremely crispy, and has a good batter. It does appear the chicken itself isn't brined, so it leaves flavor and moisture to be desired in a Korean style fried chicken. Still nice to try once, and the skin is enjoyable separately with their 3 housemade sauces. The galbi at the pricepoint is not amazing. Flavor wise it's fine, but you'll receive 4 pieces of basic kbbq galbi. I would recommend skipping it. Nothing to write home about. Their dessert is the star of the menu, and the main reason I come back! A red miso ice cream full set with all the toppings. It's a revelation with the creme brulee banana. If you're brave, they used to offer candied anchovies as a topping for that perfect addition of umami."
"Hey Kiddo was a last minute recommendation for dinner tonight and I am so happy and delightfully blown away. I ordered easy coast oysters with their mignonette—when I sat down. I will be back for more. The chicken liver mousse is truly on the most perfectly buttered toast, and I can’t wait to come back and stuff my face with both the fried chicken and popcorn chicken. Everything about tonight was perfect and unexpected. 🤘🏼 well done. I would take another picture, but I ate all the mousse."
"Was skeptical coming in but leaving I was impressed. Top service. Fantastic food. Couple misses with the fried rice and kimchi. But delicious hits with the perfect fried chicken (crispy and juicy) and the pate toast (all the flavors). The cocktails were great and the baked oysters were a good start. The “walk” is worth it for multiple people to share all the bites. The miso ice cream Sunday is an awesome treat if that is the only thing you want to get. Chill small space with an open kitchen to see what’s happening. Great for anniversary or an expensive first date. Either way. All the boxes checked"
