from Google"I had the most delightful experience at Local Jones inside the Halcyon! From the moment I walked in, the impeccable atmosphere set the tone for an unforgettable afternoon tea with multiple delicious options like Lavender Earl Gray and Hibiscus Berry. The curated selection of teas paired perfectly with the scones, house-made pastries, and savory sandwiches. The menu is a true masterpiece! The Nicoise Potato Bites were bursting with flavor, the Ricotta Tartlet was a perfect balance of cream and zesty citrus, and the Mini Quiche with mushroom duxelle was pure indulgence. Don't forget to add one of their incredible Tea Cocktails! I highly recommend the Rose Bud Spritz—a vibrant and refreshing blend of Raspberry Liqueur, St. Germain, Grapefruit, Rose Water, and Moët Champagne. If you're looking to elevate your winter afternoons, this modern twist on the classic tea tradition is an absolute must. The food, the ambiance, and the service were all top-notch."
"Their bloody Mary was delicious! Tuna ceviche was good, but needed lemon and a little more flavor. Almonds and marinated olives were really good. Love the atmosphere of this place!"
"This place had a cute vibe, but I was confused with the service and the food. I ordered the “Short Rib Hash” and there was no short rib at all, there were a couple of pork cubes from the pork green chili that was ladled on top, but no short rib at all. I didn’t want to complain or send it back so I just told the server at the end after paying and she just had a huge smile on her face without saying anything. It was strange. Did they know or think customers wouldn’t be able to tell? Overall, the experience was really strange, customer service was bad, and brunch food was really not worth it. I should’ve went somewhere else."
"This place needs to be closed down. Theres no excuse for this poor quality of food paired with really mediocre service. I ordered a burger—easy to do. Not here! Charred bun, charred meat. Inedible. Good thing there was a random dog walking around the business when we walked in—seems fitting for the food they serve. How does a chef (if you call them that) mess up a burger!? Not to mention the food runner throwing it on the table like we were an inconvenience. I looked over at the table next to me, which sat BEFORE us, as I was leaving, their burgers looked twice the size of mine. Two sliver charred patties that tasted like charcoal bricks, and a 1/4, or cracker size piece of cheese. I only ate 1/2 because I ran out of the thimble sized ketchup. Trust me, the burger needed more than that to rescue it. My first drink was the blackberry lavender was delightful. The second order of the same drink came in a completely different glass and I guess they ran out of blackberries because it was missing and so was the rosemary. It came about 20 minutes after requesting it. Consistency, folks. This is your business—-what you do day in and day out! Based on the string of 1 start reviews—it is what they do day in day out. Close up, hire new folks or don’t do business. Good Times can cook a burger and get it right! AVOID!! I won’t mention the overpriced menu."
"We were greeted by the lovely hostess Leah. She led us to our table and much to our surprise we were seated near the kitchen. It gave us a front row view of the amazing chef and her staff. They all worked in unison and delivered absolutely delicious plates. My husband’s prime rib was cooked to perfection and well seasoned. I enjoyed the lemon pepper chicken in a savory au jus sauce, the chicken melted like butter in my mouth. The cocktails were to die and divine. The service was exceptional 💯 Gabby is absolutely amazing attentive and so friendly.. her smile 😀 is everything THANK YOU for making our date night a wonder."
