from Google & Yelp"If you’re a coffee snob like me, you know it’s a good sign when the decaf espresso is amazing. Best I’ve had. The food did not disappoint either. The Go Cup is the most delicious thing I’ve had for breakfast in a long time. It has hunks of very sourdough bread in it, and the most delicious gravy. I got mine with sausage but usually it has bacon on top. It’s the type of thing you want to keep eating even after you’re full. They have a cute bar and I hear they’ll eventually have live music. Owner is very neighborly, and is always there. Bike parking is available south of the building, along Logan Street. Or across the street at Chipotle."
"Awesome local coffee shop. Had the breakfast sandwich, cinnamon roll, and lattes — no time for photos, the food was too good! Love the interior of the space, and the owner (Chef Mike) was nice enough to spend some time talking with us about all things cooking and sourdough :) Excited to come back in the evening and try their cocktails!"
"I’m so glad to have this place in the neighborhood. The baristas know what they’re doing, and the food is just GOOD. Like, the tomato tastes like a tomato, the avocado is ripe, and you’re going to actually feel full for a reasonable price. Atmosphere is great. I love the long booth, and even the high top communal table is comfortable despite my short legs. The owner seems to really care about the neighbors. Cozy for working on your laptop or meeting up with a friend, this place is great."
"Neon Cowboy was absolutely incredible in every way! Great atmosphere with fabulous decor! The food was so delish that we went back the next day- two days in a row! We enjoyed mimosas, tequila espresso martinis, -and the matcha latte was the best I have ever had! We wanted everything on their menu- loved the breakfast burrito! The staff was very attentive and willing to answer any questions about the menu! Highly recommend this establishment- we will be back."
"If you haven’t been to Neon Cowboy 🤠 yet, drop everything and go. They describe the vibe as 'Willie Nelson meets John Denver,' and they absolutely nailed it—it’s cozy, cool, and brings a much-needed splash of soulful country energy to the Wash Park neighborhood. I stopped in for coffee ☕️ and was thrilled to see they’re serving Novo (a local favorite), but the real star of the show is the food. You can tell immediately that Chef Michael is bringing serious New Orleans expertise to the kitchen. I had one of their Creole-inspired tartines, and the blend of comfort-food flavors with high-end technique is something you just don’t find at a typical cafe. The house-made pastries are also a must—perfectly flaky and clearly made with love. What I love most is the versatility. It’s the perfect spot for a morning latte and a breakfast sandwich, but it transitions so seamlessly into the evening with a great selection of cocktails, beer, and wine. It feels like a true community hub where the atmosphere is just as curated as the menu. Whether you’re a local or just passing through the park, Neon Cowboy is an absolute standout. Incredible food, great tunes, and even better vibes. Welcome to the neighborhood!"
