What People Are Saying
from Google"I’ve heard a lot of good things about this coffee shop. I was mainly disappointed about the service. The 2 women who waited on us were not unfriendly but they were busy on their phones most of the time and made very little eye contact. It seemed like they were “Just doing my job.”The coffee and scone were excellent. The atmosphere was wonderful but their behavior kind of ruined the visit."
"Never liked coffee before in my life until now. Super sweet baristas, gorgeous shop, and coffee so good it will knock your socks off. What’s not to love?"
"Wouldn’t know if the coffee is any good because I waited at the counter for several minutes without either one of the two baristas looking up once or saying a single word to me. They were directly in front of me and could see me clearly, there was really no excuse to completely ignore me. I have been in the hospitality/service industry for over a decade. I am currently a bartender and I understand that it doesn’t take a ridiculous amount of brain power to make a beverage and simultaneously greet a guest. This was enough for me to take my money elsewhere. If you want to employ the most apathetic people you can find maybe start up a call center, not a coffee shop. Hot coffee please, hold your cold shoulder. I recommend trying Corvus right down the road. The barista smiled and said hello the moment I walked in and was very kind, she turned my morning right around!"
"I have been in this sweet coffee place several times; the coffee is so exceptional, that I even have beans at my house. I’ve been in when Davey and January are working and managing to serve seemingly ridiculous lines of people, and running the place professionally and with friendliness, they are kind and patient. They also make really great coffees! My favorite is an almond milk or oat milk latte with almond and cinnamon syrup, splash of each. It’s delicious. I’ve never had to wait more than a few minutes and it is worth the wait. They have good pastries and food here as well. I love the atmosphere, and the plants and the artwork in this funky beautiful old building. Everything is clean and you see people really enjoying themselves sitting at the random chairs and tables or outside."
"One of the best coffee places in Denver! This local coffee shop serves fresh whole beans beverages with high quality. I usually go for their latte. Have been their customer for a few years now. They have a great loyalty program, very nice customer service, warm and inviting atmosphere. Great place for small social gatherings and good conversations."
