What People Are Saying

from Google & Yelp

"If irony were caffeine, this place would finally be strong at something. The spot tries very hard to cosplay as a gritty, pro community, thrift store aesthetic café but somehow lands squarely in overpriced coffee with a superiority complex. The person who appears to be the owner or manager could not be bothered to greet anyone, crack a smile, or acknowledge that customers are, in fact, the reason the lights are on. Very I am above you, but please fund my lifestyle energy. The coffee tastes like beans that have been emotionally neglected. Stale, flat, and wildly overvalued yet priced like it was harvested by monks at sunrise. You are paying an arm and a leg for a cup that tastes like it has been safe spaced from freshness. The performative values are chef’s kiss. Heavy for the people energy until it is time to actually serve people. We were quietly handed paper cups instead of glass apparently because we did not fit the preferred aesthetic. Nothing screams equality like tiered drinkware. The whole experience feels like being lectured about humility by someone charging luxury prices for mediocrity. It is not edgy, it is not authentic, it is just rude, pretentious, and wildly impressed with itself. If you enjoy paying premium prices for budget execution, being judged instead of welcomed, and watching attitude masquerade as depth, this might be your vibe. Otherwise, skip this low budget, high price experiment and support a place that understands both coffee and basic human decency."

"Pretty good. I got a cappuccino with hazel nut and the coffee was unique. I couldn’t quite catch what was different from any other cappuccino. I finished it but I feel I would try something else next time"

"Love going here to work and getting a really good latte and breakfast sandwich! Most other coffee places microwave their stuff, but these are kept warm and fresh. Highly recommend for the cozy coffee shop feel and excellent coffee and food. Cheers!"

"This is my favorite coffeeshop to work at! I think its great atmosphere, I love their figgy man sandwich, lavender latte, and their community board of events. They also have great local items available for purchase and sometimes even zines! Would recommend for anyone looking for a good place to meet and chat with friends, or go work!"

"The grilled cheese is spectacular!! Their white chocolate latte is awesome along with their dirty vanilla chai. Can't go wrong. I sit outside (because I have my dog with me), so I can't really comment on the atmosphere inside, except for the few minutes I'm in there getting my drink. It seems very chill; a nice place to work, read, etc. But I like their patios, there are two. Both are dog-friendly. They also have local artists' wear for sale, which is really neat. I've even bought some of the items. RoosterCat is what coffee houses should be, what they used to be. It's more about community rather than clean posh aesthetics. All in all, it's a great place."

"Cool vibe with great drinks. The turmeric ginger chai was perfectly spicy although a bit sweeter than an unsweetened chai which is what the barista told me...."
