"This is a must when you are visiting Connecticut. I was visiting family in CT and a friend recommended this restaurant. It was everything he said and so much more. I called on Friday to see if they could accommodate a table of four. The owner answered the call with a warm welcome and confirmed that he could. When we arrived, we were seated immediately and the experience began. David was friendly and knowledgeable offering suggestions and providing service with a smile. John was managing the floor, guests and the kitchen with ease on a busy Friday afternoon. This cozy yet elaborately decorated place is part restaurant with a retail space filled with items from local vendors. It was a magical experience from start to finish. Excellent customer service with a diverse and festive cocktail menu. The food was delicious and intentional which I appreciate. "One of my favorite places, hands down. We can even get grandpa to come inside lol. The owner is great and looks like he works hard to make this shop/eatery into a community place- supporting local artists and businesses, bringing people together. The crocheted mini goat and bunny are made by his mom!! How adorable! This place is such a delight. Can’t recommend it highly enough."
