"Great place for breakfast. Our hotel did not offer breakfast. Such a wonderful and welcoming staff. They even spoiled SnickleFritz with some bacon with her eggs and cheese. Pets welcome at the outside tables."

"Not thrilled with their, at times, impatient staff. Don't bother sitting down before ordering either, as they will hover and try to kick you out. If you can get past the uninviting atmosphere, the food is actually good. It's best you order to go, or go somewhere that makes you feel welcome."

"I’ve visited this spot a handful of times and loved it because of the food and how cozy the spot is, but today’s experience ruined the place a little for me. It was lunch hour on a weekday and the cafe wasn’t full, something of which I pay attention to since I don’t want to linger with my laptop if it’s busy and I don’t tend to stay long after I ate anyways. I drank my coffee while I worked on my paper then ordered lunch. About fifteen minutes after I finished my food, I’m wrapping up on my laptop when a woman, who I believe was the owner, approaches me. She did not ask me if I had purchased anything and passive aggressively and in a voice that carried to the other customers around me said that I needed to purchase something if I’m going to sit in the cafe. I was so surprised but managed to tell her that I had just finished eating. She looked embarrassed by her mistake, apologized twice, and tried to fix it by saying that it wasn’t too busy at the moment anyways and if it got busier I could just move to a spot on the couch, but I was so put off by her rudeness that I informed her I was heading out anyway and politely gathered my things and left. After, I went online to read the reviews and see if other customers have had similar experiences and it looks like a lot of the negative reviews are due to complaints directed toward the owner. It baffles me that her workers are so professional and kind (the only reason why I rated their service a 2/5) and that their boss displays such poor customer service."
