from Google & Yelp"My fiancé and I traveled 50 minutes to visit and it doesn’t disappoint. To point out the obvious, the ambiance and decor is amazing. We could spend hours pointing out different art works, signage and more. The staff were very friendly, and the owner was so down to earth. He takes great pride in this place and his kitties, and it shows. We tried the BLT and Turkey Club which were great and visited the cats in their separate space right after. We’re definitely visiting again!"
"I went on a day trip today and it was overall great, just a pro tip/knowledge others may want to know before coming in if it’s your first time - this is not a cat cafe where you can schedule time to go in and see the kitties. You must purchase something/eat there and sit down like the main business is a Coffee House. Understood! But at first, even after seeing peoples reviews, I was under the impression it was similarly run to your typical cat cafe where the food and drinks are optional..but this is more of a CAFE with a 15 minute cat session as the add-on to your meal/snack. The other thing is on a busy Saturday, the cafe order area gets packed quickly and the waiting area / tables area is where you have to then walk over to to avoid overcrowding the order area. Totally get it. But what I dont get is when I arrived (maybe Im an idiot) I did not see any explanation or signs saying to wait in said area while the body count goes down. I saw on the door the “6 person Limit” sign but I dont believe it states to wait in the other dining area for a spot in line to clear up. I asked them how they kept track of people coming in, or at least how they tracked people in order once we must go over to the tables area (which is around the corner and down a small hallway so it isnt quite near the counter per se). The owner is SUPER chill and friendly. He explained that he scopes people out and can remember when they arrived/but it depends when you actually get up to order at the line as to when youd be able to secure a spot to visit the cats. The cats are an add-on to the meal/included with meal purchase but you have to wait until the owner says the next group is ready to go in and he will organize the groups based on first come first served and first done eating. The eating is the main service here. When youre done eating or drinking a latte, coffee, etc, then I guess youre considered “in line” for the cats now. But I also went and stood near the counter a few times because I was concerned I wasnt “actually” in line for the cat room after my lunch and I drove an hour and a half from MA so I kinda didnt wanna get forgotten or skipped over and I also didnt know (since there are signs saying to donate in order to visit the cats) if i didnt donate as part of my meal total , that Id be skipped over. Turns out when I asked the cashier during my order if I needed to pay for the cat room too as part of my meal I was told it’s fine I can save my money. It was just confusing to see signs for that and then “nevermind” ! I was more than happy to donate. I think they should do a hand stamp or timestamped ticket so the staff can keep track of who is in “line” for waiting on the cats after they eat. It just seemed kind of confusing for a first time visitor, but the place is small, so I get why they do it- I wanted to share that here! Prioritize getting a spot in line for the cafe as the main thing, ( like…monitor who is in the order area by peeking around from the tables so you can count if there is 6 ppl in line, and monitor when that goes down and then snag a spot in line ) at this time there was only 1 cashier so it did take a while in line to order lunch but she was super friendly and I didnt mind the wait, I was just concerned that I wouldnt be able to do both in one day since they close at 3! But the cat room visitation stayed open past 3 , if you had gotten there and eaten near 3pm thats fine, so I appreciated him letting us chill with the cats at 3. I think after my group it was ONE final group at 3:15 and then no more for the day. Cafe is closed promptly at 3pm Id suspect so as long as youre ordering something before 3 you should get a spot for the cats-when you order drinks or food just mention you are gonna chill and wait in the cafe to visit the cats afterward so they know you are there to do that too. The sandwich I had was bomb-super yummy chicken salad and apples/raisins on great bread! 🩷 The welcoming and comforting LGBTQ and progressive democrat decor all over is a huge plus too! 🩷"
"This is a great place to grab coffee, tea, bite to eat! We stopped because of the uniqueness of the name and how interesting the cafe looked. This is a cat lovers paradise, so much to look at every turn whether you are inside or outside…truly a gem for all to see. My husband and I enjoyed our visit today. And meeting the owner Mark was so nice. Thanks Mark for being so kind and friendly, the vibes when entering your place was also a treat. We enjoyed our beverages and the conversation. What an unforgettable place to visit, I wanted to stop after leaving our Postcard Cabin. We enjoyed the photo opportunity as Two Wrassling Cats. Retired Couple from Dallas Texas!"
"Such an adorable hidden gem. Found it on Google maps. As a cat lover we just had to stop. It was lunch time so my niece and I each got amazing sandwiches. She had the BLT, I had the Thanksgiving sandwich. Amazing and the wheat bread might have been made there or a local bakery, it didn't come from a grocery store. Chef's kiss! Then we went in to see the kitties. What a GREAT porch/room they have dedicated just to them. Beds galore, toys, boxes, big beautiful windows with the sun streaming it. Super sweet, well cared for loving cats. I laid on the floor and a ginger laid on top of me and fell asleep purring. My niece had a different ginger climb in her lap and also went to sleep. The others rubbed up against us, played and just enjoyed the time. Two HUGE running wheels for them to get exercise on. They loved those. We will be going back at some point to visit them again. And get some more yummy food. They also sell some great souvenirs. The coffee mugs are GINORMOUS!"
"Dated on Saturday, October 4th. Found this cafe on the bulletin board from Gillette Castle State Park because my mother and I were a bit hungry. Saw this coffee house is so very colorful! This place is very PRIDE & friendly breakfast and lunch cafe. The young cashier was very kind and understandable. I got a Reuben and a Cinnamon Roll And my mom got a Veggie Wrap and a Fruit Smoothie."
