"We ordered 2 omlettes with hash browns and toast. The guy says it will be ready in 7-8 mins. Thats the first red flag. How can food that quick not be subpar? We get there, in sleet and snow, and told it’s cash or Venmo only. Why? It’s almost 2026 and the buisness model is not resembling of the fifties like Shady Glen. This wasn’t a good experience. Now to the food- in the omelette was a whole sausage, not even cut up, just wrapped up in a thin letter of egg resembling more of a crepe instead. The vegetables resembled much like frozen peppers and onions, you know the bag you can get at Walmart and has that texture and color of it too. No taste or seasoning to the omelette. The toast was barely toasted. Now I get why the 7-8 mins. Will never be back, and I’m quite surprised this lackluster care and attention is served in Glastonbury. Oh and our bill came $10 higher than the menu prices and without a receipt so no explanation as to why."

"FYI, this place is cash only. Outdated decor, BUT fabulous service and food. I got my order within minutes! Scrambled eggs and rye toast were great. Coffee was a 3 out of 5. I had wanted pancakes but they don't offer real maple syrup. I didn't tell the waitress that I needed to leave for an appointment in 20 minutes, so when I got my order so quickly it was wonderful! Everyone working there was in a great mood and had good eye contact. I could tell there were some regulars eating at the counter and there was a nice banter with them and the 2 guys behind the counter. Not 100% perfect, but I give it 5 stars for the great experience and good food."

"Let’s start with the staff: I was greeted with a smile and the young lady was beyond kind and sweet listened to everything I had to say ( dietary restrictions) she double checked everything!! Awesome: now the food just adds them to the next level, it was made hot fresh and quick! The home fries are to die for!! Highly recommend them!"

"Such a good breakfast! Perfectly cooked egg and rye toast plus excellent home fries. I grabbed a forkful of my son's crispy hash and instantly regretted not getting them! It's also either cash or venmo for payment! Great idea...no credit card fees so the prices are very reasonable! Great place! Oh and the coffee is good, too!"

"An amazing mom and pops place my wife and I are happy we found this place. There not expensive at all and the food was great perfect size I was totally happy with them and not over stuffed. I definitely recommend this place if your in Glastonbury I will definitely be back myself . P.s the coffee is amazing there you can tell everything I had was made with love .
