"We were in Guilford for a few days visiting friends. We spent a lot of time in and around the town green. One stop was the Marketplace on the green. We have been here many times over the years as the ownership and layout have changed. This time it was different from our last visit. Different seating etc. pretty busy but service was a bit slow. Some additional seating outside. We ordered the harvest green salad and a Californian sandwich. Both were good but the nice vibe inside that we remember seems to be gone. Crowd is smaller."

"The staff at this establishment are just fantastic. So kind, swift and helpful! The shakes are fantastic, I personally love that they do not add sweeteners (or if so very little). Their salads are chock full of wonderful toppings and they make excellent sandwiches."

They completely transformed the space for our wedding reception and it was so beautiful! The food was amazing and the staff was so friendly and helpful. We even took our leftovers home and had a big meal the next day. Huge thank you to everyone at Marketplace who made our wedding day so perfect! ❤️"
