"The coffee is good. The pastries are all right. The staff here kinda suck. Im Hispanic looking and unfortunately, I don't speak spanish, but they insist every single time in screaming at me in spanish because they can't understand mine large coffee with caramel. I come here every day 2 or 3 times a day. Today I really needed to use the bathroom and I asked if I could please use the bathroom and the manager started to scream at me that the bathroom was for customers only. Explain to her.I understood.And that I just needed to use the bathroom that I didn't want to pee.My pants before I grabbed the coffee or while waiting in line. As soon as I was ready to go, buy my coffee in front of everybody, she decided to embarrass me and tell me that I needed to learn how to respect my elders. And that I needed to learn how to not be so disrespectful, because I told her that I really needed to use the bathroom and I didn't want to pee.My pant. So to the skinny colombian lady who says that I should respect my elders You have lost a client today. And I will be sharing my experience with everyone who asks about this place. I will be going to the one in branford, only because the one on new york street horrible service"

"This place has good staff and a decent environment, but I'm very disappointed with their food. I could not find anything that didn’t involve paying for animal cruelty. All the pastries had eggs and dairy, and all the animals are eventually killed the second they are not profitable for these businesses. It's really unacceptable to have a coffee shop right in front of one of the best universities without offering even a single option for people to avoid supporting animal exploitation. I will encourage my students not to come here but would be happy to support this place if they take action and change their menu. If the owners need help changing the menu, I would be happy to assist and support."
