What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"Doro Marketplace is consistently amazing. We had the BK Bowl, and I’ve also tried the Doro Bowl, Eggs Up, and the Tuna Melt — everything has been excellent every time. The only small note is that the breakfast bowls can be a bit heavy on potatoes, but they’re soft inside, crispy outside, and still really good. The ambiance is calm and cozy, even when they’re busy (which they usually are because the food is that good). The pastries never disappoint. Highly recommend the pistachio croissant, blueberry and strawberry vol-au-vent pastries, jelly bomboloni, passion fruit cake, and the Dubai chocolate tart, which is surprisingly well balanced and not too sweet. A go-to spot that never misses."
"Doro in Plainville is an excellent spot to grab a bite to eat. They offer a huge selection of freshly made pastries as well as other menu items. Their coffee is delicious and made to order, and a better value than that other big coffee chain up the road. They also have a lot of seating and free WiFi for guests - an excellent remote working spot. It is well organized and clean. Do yourself a favor and check it out!"
"Cute place with fabulous desserts & pastry. Got the mean green salad with chicken, it was delicious! Definitely going back to get that again as well to try the sandwiches, they looked amazing from the next table over. Great drink options, I have yet to try the coffee. Cute little grab and go cookies, honey, spices, tea, and other items. I definitely recommend checking this place out!"
"I’ll start off by saying this place is very cute, the vibe is nice, everything was clean and well organized. The prices were reasonable, I had a sandwich, cookie and a hot cappuccino. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich on a gluten free bun; immediately after biting into it I crunched a piece of cartilage from the chicken which I had to immediately spit out. Not anyone’s fault but gross, I had to pick through the rest of the sandwich to make sure it was in the clear. The bun it was served on was styrofoam adjacent (funny enough not because it was gluten free just because it was bad. My friends sandwich came on a normal roll which was gross too). The hot cappuccino was good nothing crazy, the cookie was giant and crispy chewy. I would only suggest pastry from this cafe(accept my friends pastry was dry and gross). Yuck."
"I ordered an everything bagel this morning, they gave me aziago instead. Im allergic to aziago so I tried to pull it off the top but it turns out its baked into the bread. Morning ruined."
"My husband had been wanting to try DORO and I finally caved! Very clean aesthetic and beautiful selection of sweets and prepared foods displayed. I cannot..."
