"This little cafe has gone through multiple owners in the last 15+ years, and I think it's finally landed with success! The atmosphere is quaint, comfortable, and a little quirky in all the best ways. Our breakfast was outstanding! The breakfast burrito was the best my husband had ever had, and my frittata was fresh and filling. I took half home and enjoyed it as leftovers. Ralph, the owner, is friendly and makes an effort to ensure the dining experience is great! I was happy to see a steady stream of customers on this Tuesday morning."

"Place was great! Easy off I-84, I got chicken pot pie which they prepare fresh to order, delicious. Wife had a sweet potato hash, also delicious. Great family atmosphere. To note, if you look at the menu, you are only seeing about half the available selection, many specials to be had!"

"Ralph is a very passionate food guy who cooks literally every dish himself. You’ll find hearty portions and highly seasoned food that is good with flavor that is robust and memorable. A family affair mom is there too working the floor taking orders. Coffee is huge and good and the cinnamon rolls are memorable. A Waldorf style chicken salad on a solid oat bread is a winner as his chicken. Meatballs and egg combo. He’ll surprise and spoil you with cannolis on the house at the end. Very gracious host and much success will surely follow the passion here"

"We were looking for a place for breakfast in newtown and came across Ralph’s sandy hook cafe. One of the best French toast I’ve ever had. Everything was soooo good. The owner himself came to take the order and recommended what we should get. He was very considerate of everything and asked us questions like what we can eat and what we can’t eat. Overall the food came out sooo good. I tried his recommendation. Will def come back here. My bf said this was a first time he saw my finish most of my food. I finished my whole plate. Definitely recommend it for some goood breakfast or lunch."
