"Absolutely Outstanding! The Village Table in Stamford is an absolute gem! Their chicken cutlet sandwich is hands down one of the best I’ve ever had — perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and layered with the freshest ingredients. You can tell everything is made with care and attention to detail. The bread was warm and perfectly toasted, the flavors balanced beautifully, and the portion was generous without being over the top. Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, and food that hits the spot every single time. Highly recommend!"

"I’m a Brooklyn Italian born and raised, and The Village Table in Stamford brings me right back to the neighborhood. Their eggplant parm sandwich? Forget about it! Perfectly breaded, tender eggplant with just the right amount of sauce and melted cheese — it’s like Nonna made it herself. But it’s not just the sandwiches — everything here hits the mark. The pasta fagioli is hearty and comforting, the meatballs taste homemade, and even their breakfast sandwiches are top-notch. The staff treats you like family, and the whole place has that old-school deli charm that’s getting harder to find these days. If you miss real Italian cooking done right, The Village Table is where you go. Mangia bene!"

"I do like the food here and most of the people who work here are nice. However the owner or the owners daughter is a weird lady and might not be all there (I dealt with her other times before). I ordered Uber Eats, but for take out. It said my order was ready and when I walked I told one of the workers I ordered on Uber eats take out. She knows me by my name. I waited an extra 10 mins and the owners daughter asked me what I needed and I told her I ordered on the app. She packed my own order and then asked me to go in the fridge to get my coke. Yet there were other drinks behind the counter that were prepared for take outs and picks pick ups. So I’m not sure why she would ask a customer to go get a drink. And I’m not sure why my food was done after someone who ordered after me (I literally saw him pay for his food in store). And my quesadilla didn’t even come with salsa. Also I must make her feel some kind of way because she is polite to everyone, but never greets me when she takes my order, or says thank you or have a great day like she does with other customers. I’m not going to blame myself for her insecurities I read through though. I use to be a server, so I know how to make money based off tips and being social in that aspect. How she chooses to engaged with me is weird and she takes my presence to heart and it shows. I think she has to heal and become more comfortable. It’s not my fault her daddy owns the business and she has to stand in the front taking orders on some Sunday morning. Her presence screams “I need you under my authority because im miserable” . I could’ve told her to go get my soda , but I have more social class than some owners daughter who probably wishes for a better life"

"The cashiers were very pleasant and the food was delightful, but I have one problem: the owner. I watched the owner yell at her employees who were very polite and nice. She made it seem like everyone else was wrong, but it was clearly her. She needs to learn to respect her employees. That left a bad taste in my mouth and eating such a delicious meal. Try the chipotle panini!"

"Amazing soup, delicious salad and a perfect Philly cheese steak is all i'm able to speak on so far, but we'll definitely be back! If you're in the springdale area and looking for delicious food definitely stop in."

"This spot did the trick. The menu is large, and the food came out quickly. There are about 4 low tops and then two windows with counter seating...."
