"We used Zest for our wedding cake and it genuinely was the most incredible cake we’ve ever had. We chose a chocolate cake with salted caramel and cookie crumble with vanilla buttercream and it was unbelievable moist, rich and delicious. Truly no words can describe how good it was. I wasn’t expecting much considering it was a giant cake for 160 people but it absolutely blew me away. Guests were raving about it all night and we literally ate it again for breakfast the next morning because we couldn’t stop talking about it. Aside from taste, the cake itself was stunning. We wanted to incorporate real florals and Gabriella from Zest worked seamlessly with our florist to add fresh flowers that tied perfectly into our overall aesthetic. It became a centerpiece of the entire reception layout and was beyond beautiful, elegant and exactly what we envisioned. Zest was so easy to work with from the start, incredible accommodating, and so talented. This isn’t your typical bland wedding cake, it was next level amazing. Highly, highly recommend Zest if you want a cake that is both stunning and absolutely delicious!"

"A delightful bakery in the Velvet Mill in Stonington, Connecticut. We had visited the farmers market in the parking lot of the mill, then wandered around the repurposed mill. We saw lots of people coming and going from this place and after reading their reviews, we decided we needed to check it out. Very friendly service in this light filled space. So many treats to choose from and our server answered all our questions and helped us choose. We loved the egg and bacon breakfast sandwich in the freshly made brioche. We took the carrot cake slice for later and it was wonderful. Flavorful and very moist. Seating available in this space or take it to go. Lots of parking in the busy lot, even on a Saturday morning with the farmers market going. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 stars Highly recommend."

"We ordered a small vegan lemon cutting cake with vanilla buttercream for our wedding and were extremely impressed with the taste and texture. It was honestly the best vegan cake I have ever had. The frosting was not overly sweet and hard like a lot of vegan frosting tends to be. It was buttery and silky and the lemon cake was very moist and succulent. They also nailed the design we were looking for. Later in the night we walked in on a groomsman eating a piece of the cake, who also said “this is the best cake I’ve ever had, where is this from?” He was shocked to learn that it was vegan. We froze the rest of the cake for tradition but every day I am tempted to thaw it because it was so good. On top of this, the communication with Zest was very quick and they coordinated delivery of the cake to our venue which was a huge help. 10/10 recommend!"

"Gabriella and the pastry team at Zest created a tiered cheesecake for our November wedding, and absolutely knocked it out of the park! Gabriella was incredibly easy to work with and communicated promptly throughout the entire process. The tasting she arranged was delicious and super reasonably priced; we were also able to do it at home, which was great! Gabriella coordinated with our florist to get some spare flowers to decorate with ahead of time, and the cake looked absolutely stunning when it arrived at our venue. We would absolutely recommend Zest to any couple looking for a wedding cake vendor!"
