"Honestly. SUPER disappointed. Don’t believe a lot of reviews when their family & friends. Drove 50 MINUTES to get good tres leches cakes. Bought 4 of them. WHERES THE MILKS???? It’s nothing but dried up angel food cake which tastes awful. Super cheap cake, very cheap / gross frosting. And NO MILK in the container. Whole point of it!! Not to mention, the eclairs were bland. Tasted like an old croissant with Boston cream (donut like ) filling. Very disappointed. Total of almost 2 hrs driving to get good dessert and it sucked. Idk what else to say. 3 milk- tres leche was my favorite dessert of all time until i had it here. No one drives hours to get dry angel food cake. . Honestly. Could’ve gotten very similar at big y. Could’ve gotten the cake there BUT IT DOESNT HAVE MILK. So that’s why I went to a Spanish place to get it, and of course. Disappointment. Nobody will compare to mofongos desserts. Just a really sad experience"

"The best bread around! When I stop in Waterbury, I always come by here to grab a loaf of sweet bread and a beef empanada. Bread is delicious and always fresh. They have a variety of pastries too.staff is friendly and helpful. Restaurant is clean"

"First time visiting and it did not disappoint! If you’re craving authentic Puerto Rican bakery flavors, this is the place to go. We tried the Tripleta (pastrami, pork, turkey) sandwich, a ham-egg-cheese-bacon sandwich, alcapurria, pizza empanada (cheese and pepperoni), fries, quesito, and the highlight for me—freshly squeezed orange juice. We ordered many things for just two of is. We didn’t want to miss out. Everything was fresh and delicious. The tables are setup for at least 4 people to sit. I don’t know if you can move them for a bigger group. They have outside seating also. The staff is very friendly, and I’ll definitely be coming back!"

"Highly recommend!! Lots of variety available. Extremely reasonably priced. Fiancée and I split a large sandwich, get something sweet for dessert and it’s around $10-$12. Picking up treats and sweets for the fam (a box of cookies, two turnovers, four donuts, and a palmera) is about $20. Delicious cakes, donuts, and turnovers. Always a good selection of cookies. Their sandwiches are huge, and extremely reasonably priced, and so savory and filling. Their empanadas look fresh, hot, and easy to grab and go, but I haven’t yet had any myself. They have cases of larger cakes for any occasion in gorgeous glass displays. A good selection of fresh juices and drinks, coffee, sodas, bottled juice. And of course BREAD! Sweet breads, sandwich rolls, savory, all fresh. There’s also a small fridge with deli meats and cheeses, from which I haven’t personally purchased. This place gets busy, but is always clean, always taken care of, and always a delight to visit. Street parking, or a small lot in the back, both sometimes pretty full depending on the day/hour. Helpful staff, mostly Spanish speaking, but some fluent and most at least partially fluent."
