"I've been here multiple times, and every time has been great. The staff are always great, the vibe is wonderful, the food and drinks are excellent. I especially appreciate the many vegan options that are delicious. Every time I bring a colleague here they end up enjoying it too, so it's not just my opinion. Don't miss perusing the bookstore while you are here. They have great unique items, including many local authors."

"Really one of the best places to eat in Takoma Park. Not noisy and good ambiance.The self care mocktail was really good! Our server Allison was very attentive. I had the chicken with sweet potato pancakes and they were delicious. My friend had her usual Turkey burger and enjoyed it. Her husband is vegetarian and also likes it."

"Great choices for food. Place was a little busy. It was 130 when we arrived. The chicken with mashed potatoes is was very tasty. The other party had a vegan sandwich. It looked very good also. The noise level was high. No sound absorbing in larger dining room. Over all very enjoyable."

"Had a nice time there. It was super slow like only 2-3 tables. I found a piece hair in my ice cream scoop that went with bread pudding. The girl took forever to come back and It was melting so my boyfriend decided to pull it out and eat it anyway. When I told her about it after we were almost done... she said something to the nature of well you already ate it and joking. Not even an apology or offer. I'm thinking well...If you weren't gone so long, maybe I could have informed you before I ate it. It's not like they were busy! If I was working a restaurant and somebody mentioned a hair in their ice cream... I would definitely get them another or offer immediately. So gross and rude to think this is ok. My friends agreed this was odd who knows what other type of oh wells they bend. I ate the bread pudding which was good. Ice cream ball was small compared to the cake anyway."
