"As a Uruguayan, I can confidently say that Ceibo captures and elevates our flavors in a unique way. The food and drinks were top notch, and the service was superb. Even the music made me feel at home! I'll have to come back to try the rest of the menu!"

"Best restaurant I’ve been to in DC and best meal I’ve had dining out in DC, period (and I’ve dined out quite a bit!). Everything was perfect. Every plate was incredible, truly an experience of flavor and texture. You can tell there’s a Chef who knows and loves South American food experimenting and testing and a full kitchen of very talented folks. Cocktails are among the best I’ve had, and service was over the top. Ambiance is cozy and sophisticated. Do not skip the bread nor the dessert. From the small dishes or big plates, nothing will go wrong."

"We enjoyed a lovely dinner last night with close family friends. My Humo cocktail was perfectly balanced and an excellent way to begin the evening. The leek tart with its combo of cooked leeks and fresh lettuce and herbs deliver a complex texture. The black cod was fresh and beautifully plated with a baby bok choy resting on a creamy bed of oyster sauce, encircled by purple sweet potato purée, accented with sprinkles of cashews. The black truffle shavings on top of the canelones added a refined taste. The special of the night was the true star: the duck confit was crisp without being dry, tender without falling apart, and paired with a earthy sauce. The desserts were rich and sinful. All of these wonderful dishes were made even better by warm, attentive service. All in all, it was a memorable dinner—made possible by my daughter, who has spoken so highly of this favorite restaurant of hers and keeps bringing friends and family here."

"Ceibo was the perfect spot to celebrate my birthday with friends. Manuel was very helpful in setting up the reservation and seating us at the perfect location for our table size. The food was AMAZING. They started us off with homemade biscuits and fresh butter. The Hamachi crudo was phenomenal. For my meal, I ordered the duck which was prepared beautifully."

"We had a delicious and diverse meal here with friends! For four people we got four small plates (they aren’t kidding how good the bread and butter is!) and four mains. I think we could have gotten 5 small plates and 2 mains. The sundae was tart and creamy and the dulce de leche creme was delicious! The chorizo dumplings were so flavorful!"
