"We came here for breakfast one morning craving bagels as soon as it opened at 7:00 am. We were only in town for a work conference for a week and ended up getting our daily bagel 4/6 days! The restaurant wasn’t too busy that early in the morning. It’s a hidden gem right in the heart of downtown and a great spot to enjoy an amazing meal to start your day. The menu offers vegetarian options as well as substitutions. The first day I ordered just a bagel with egg and cheese, along with a double shot espresso ( they serve Lavazza here, so it was great!). The serving was extremely generous for a bagel and ended up being pretty filling! My colleagues ordered the daily special on a bagel: 3 eggs, avocado and bacon. It was huge, extremely flavorful, and they absolutely finished the whole thing! Some of them even ordered a second one! The second day I ordered the daily special as well but had them substitute the bacon for mushrooms, it was exceptionally delicious! Their service was fast and the staff extremely friendly and attentive. Overall an absolutely fantastic experience and we will definitely be coming back if in the DC area!"
