"I was at a Starbucks near by and it offered tables, no seats and no bathroom. That was my queue to get out of there Compass coffee was a refreshing contrast for an inviting atmosphere. Very nice coffee shop. Clean and quick service. Even has seats and a restroom."

"We ordered a caramel freeze and iced pumpkin spice latte. The Caramel freeze was completely white and essentially just tasted like frozen milk. I asked the staff what was up and they acted like that was totally normal. The pumpkin spice latte had a thick layer of pumpkin syrup at the bottom the destroyed the taste of the whole drink, making it taste like cheap pumpkin liquor had been poured in. It was not sweet at all, instead had a sharp bitter taste. Rough…"

"What can I say? I found out about Compass Coffee the first time I had a Big Daddy coffee at the Takoma Busboys and Poets. I asked if I could buy the coffee. Nope. Had to go to Shaw (its only outlet at the time) to buy the coffee, which I did. Compass Coffee has made it easier to order over time, but the one thing they have NOT done is open a store closer than Shaw to where I live in Takoma Park. Oh, well. Not a lot of day traffic, I'm guessing. I would buy in person more often, but the stores do not exist where I usually am."

"I visited one of their stores a few days earlier and was happy to receive a free coffee voucher to visit again. Had a perfectly brewed americano. Both times there has been a happy and fun vibe in the place and staff look like they are having a good time."
