"Their vanilla latte is my favorite drink. Their seasonal flavors can sometimes be a hit or miss. For example, their cider donut latte was great but did not enjoy the gingerbread latte at all. Tried it twice and I think the syrup is just not good. I would recommend sticking to their traditional flavors such as vanilla (really good)."

"Great coffee, good vibe, fun baristas! Visiting DC, I found Compass Coffee on New Jersey Ave SE by walking in while hiking all over. Needed a pick-me-up & the coffee & atmosphere were so good that I'm writing this weeks later! The baristas made me feel welcome & were fun to chat with... It's clear that they love their job & enjoy helping people. Check them out!"

"If you use the app, BEWARE of their app scams like $25 loading credits expiring in a month! They never tell you that when they advertise!!!! To add insult to injury, they do a 50/50 split when it expires so you not only lose the incentive they advertise, you also lose what you paid out of pocket incrementally. Also they constantly FALSE advertise bonuses like 2X points for buying a latter today then you see that they didn’t give you the extra points in the app💩! Gave 2 stars and not 1 because the employees are nice. I’m switching my local cafe to Gregorys a couple blocks away! There’s also Maman, Starbucks, Whole Foods cafe, Panera, Somewhere…lots of other choices"

"Coffee is above average. The place is spacious, good spot to get some work done. If you are picky and are looking for specialty coffee, you could be a little disappointed. They do not follow standard ratios (my flat had too much milk and the milk was quite hot, it burnt my tongue). I am a very picky when I go out to pay for coffee. If you are not, this place will be fine."

"I actually enjoy the coffee here, sometimes they run a bit slow, but that happens. My issue is the amount of dogs allowed in the establishment. It almost feels like an indoor dog park and not a coffee shop. It’s actually kind of unsanitary the amount of shedding and drooling, I’ve seen from people’s dogs. At one point it was like 5-8 dogs in there at once. Sooo I won’t be back."
