"I stopped into Compass on 3 consecutive mornings this week and had a delightful experience each morning. The two individuals working the counter did a fantastic job problem solving my order when one of the ingredients was unavailable and made well thought out recommendations for substitutions on day 1. On days 2 and 3, the individual working the cash register followed up on my order from the day before to see how I had liked it and then adjusted the order based on feedback. I was truly shocked to be remembered on only day 2 and the woman at the cash register 11/6 and 11/6 around 8 AM is amazing. You don’t get that service at national chains."

"Compass Coffee offered free coffee (and later free coffee and a pastry) to furloughed workers, which I think is very kind and generous. The staff were always very nice. There are tables, good WiFi, and it was quiet enough to work for a little while. The coffee is very good. The pastries are ok."

"Compass once was a great cup of coffee. I now find it too strong even for the mild blends. I love the Cardinal blend and use it at home. But the cups I get in store not so much."
