"Great coffee spot in DuPont circle area with friendly staff. The coffee here is really good and they make some of the best matcha I’ve had in the DC area. They also make their own nut/oat milks which I appreciate because they don’t come with all the additives that are normally in those milks. Compass also doesn’t charge extra for ordering a drink with dairy free milks unlike a lot of coffee shops in the area."

"This is definitely more of a sugary latte place than a place to get a decent cup of coffee. A trendy Starbucks. My drip coffee tasted like the leftover water from a cup'o'noodles. The place is colorful and blasts really upbeat club music so if you're just waking up, you're in for a bad time. Only saving grace and was the service was good. Nothing special but nothing to complain about. This does not save you from the awful coffee. If you like sugary lattes and upbeat music this maybe your spot. If you like coffee and want a chill spot to drink it look somewhere else."

"Excellent coffee options if you are in and around the Du point circle Tried the latte ..and it was pretty good The ambience is very relaxing and definitely worth a second visit"

"Spent over 10$ for a Cortado and a Croissant . Both horrible : cortado had the milk way overheated , the croissant was no better than a 1$ Walmart croissant , cold and chewy . Only positive thing: service was quick and friendly and there was space to sit. But that doesn’t change the unacceptable low quality of what I got"

"So, they have a program that when you buy stuff you get points but they just switch it to a tier system, which is now a waste of time, Because using the points to buy coffee or get a baked good lowers the tier you're in which means you get less points. So it's encouraging you do collect points but not use them; there's no point to that. I'm reducing my rating by one star. ---------- New location. Coffee is good and they carry pastries from Fresh Baguette."

"This store is a great addition to the Georgetown area. It must be new because I didn't see it here before. I was slightly disappointed that the Wawa store..."
