from Google & Yelp"Absolutely love Cup’a Cup’a Cafe! Their authentic Ethiopian food is incredibly flavorful and comforting! Highly recommend! Sofia is very kind!"
"Normally their coffee is really good but the last time I went there it tasted burnt. Also their croissant was stale 😢"
"Great little coffee shop near GW Campus. Very affordable and the owner is so nice and friendly. Good seating outside and the neighboring bookstore is cool too? It's my favorite place to go since I started school."
"I went to Cup'a Cup'a Cafe recently for the veggie combo, but unfortunately, I was not as impressed with the food. The salad was decently seasoned, and the warmed up beets were pretty good. However, I was a little disappointed to find hairs in my food, and the quinoa underneath was a bit off-putting. The service was good, however, so I will give them points for that. I might come back, but probably just for the coffee. It's nice to have a bookstore nearby the store, as it adds to the ambience."
"Coming from MD I miss Ethiopian food so much. Popped in planning just to grab a quick coffee. The latte was one of the best I’ve ever had, and while waiting for my passport I had a delicious veggie sambusa and I will be circling back to get food to take home. Sophie was so welcoming and let me set up shop for 3 hours on a rainy day. Cannot recommend this place enough. Would have posted pics, but I was too busy enjoying everything!"
"This is a fun place in a book store to enjoy Ethiopian food and coffee. People seem to love the coffee. I had a veggie platter- it was delicious and fresh...."
