"Ebenezer's Coffee is a compliment to the Capitol Hill community. And a nice alternative to Starbucks. It seems as if they are there to serve the community.... rather than have the community to serve them (another swipe at Starbucks). Ebenezer's is folksy and relatively unpretentious as it sets in the shadows of Union Station. It's inviting...in a curious way. I recommend it."

"I was just wandering about town venturing through North East, for once, to see what is changing. I noticed this charming coffeehouse and stopped in to check it out. Immediately you are greeted by the staff with smiles and warm welcoming. I ordered a Mocha, and browsed while its being made. They tastefully display souvenir shirts, books, and tea for add-on purchases. My eyes soon fixated on the Map wallcovering, which allows you to mentally recall the evolution of the area — nice! Around 5 minutes my Mocha was ready. I took a sip, looked at the barista, and nodded to him with a smile — he knew he nailed it."
