"I had their Miso Flat White and it’s the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and creamy froth. My friend had Hot Chocolate (it was okay) and Iced Hojicha Latte - which was also great for those who prefer the toasted flavor profile. We went on a Saturday afternoon, which was quite a busy time of the day, so there was a long queue and waiting time, but all the orders were perfect. Not quite comfortable to converse inside due to the noise, but located right across Georgetown Waterfront Park that has plenty of benches."

"This coffee shop is one of few that roasts coffee beans inside the shop, and you can tell when you taste the latte how fresh the beans are. Their espresso menu is so simple too, unlike several other shops with a lot of sweetened flavors and add-ons that take out the espresso experience. They also have burritos, my friend said the breakfast burrito was good. Their chai lattes taste good too. They have seating outside and inside. If there is no space for a table inside, there’s a cool sitting area on the side shaped like stairs. Overall, you can tell that the baristas know their thing."

"One of my all time favorite coffee shops in DC! I first started going to Grace Street Coffee when they were still located on their namesake, Grace Street, in 2017. They've moved locations since then to a gorgeous spot right next to the Georgetown waterfront, but the quality of their coffee and friendliness, attentiveness of their service has remained the same. Their coffee menu is quite extensive and every single item is outstanding; as one of DC's most prolific local coffee roasters, it's so clear that they deeply care about the beans and unique, subtle flavor profiles of each roast. Their coffee is rich, flavorful, and smooth, and I am always so genuinely impressed by every drink I get here. Beyond the coffee, though, they also have a phenomenal selection of teas. I love their matcha (probably one of the best in DC), and their loose leaf tea is fantastic. One of my coffee shop pet peeves is when a barista just hands you a cup of hot water with a tea bag in it, but Grace Street truly appreciates the tea; they will steep the loose leaf tea for you for the right amount of time and with the right temperature of water, then hand you the final, completed beverage. It's a small thing, but the extra time to brew the tea properly really elevates the experience and shows how much Grace Street cares about making sure everything -- coffee or not -- is executed perfectly. They also serve a variety of food, including pastries from Pluma Bakery and some hearty breakfast burritos / bowls from Monstera. I've sampled a variety of pastries, including their monkey bread for a sweet treat and potato danish for a more savory bite, and they've all been great. The coffee shop tends to be quite crowded so it's hard to find seating, but if you manage to snag a table and/or spot on their staircase benches, it's such a lovely vibe. If not, there are a few picnic tables outside or you can take your coffee for a walk along the waterfront."

"Decent looking coffee shop with plenty of seating. Coffee is roasted in house and has a pretty good taste. House espresso was a little too burnt for me and the decaf espresso had essentially no flavor. Ordered: Oat Cortado, and Decaf Americano w/Cream Cortado (pictured) had a good milk texture but was a little cold. There were some loose grounds in the coffee which was a slightly unpleasant surprise. Overall a good flavor but was a little burnt tasting as I said above. Decaf Americano was essentially flavorless. This is most likely due to the roast but could also be attributed to a fast extraction and/or a course ground size."

"If you want a solid, local coffee roaster experience, go to Grace Street. They have great (real) espresso drinks, pour overs, and loose leaf tea made to order. The staff is awesome and you can tell they truly love their craft, because it delivers in the service and the drinks. All of their seasonal or specialty drinks are also made in house. This is a proper cafe where you can relax, read, or work with low key vibes — it is NOT a spot for large groups, small kids, big meals, or people who want immediate basic drinks. We have plenty of fast casual cafes and Starbucks-like locations around the city that can accommodate that ;)"
