What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"So, I don’t do this too often, but this is a special little place tucked in a corner near the White House. The environment is spacious and inviting, there’s plenty of seating, (because trust, the line gets long especially during the morning rush) but despite the line almost to the door, the cashier remained patient, attentive, and treated each new customer with hospitality, which is greatly appreciated. I got the avocado toast (you’d think it couldn’t go wrong but it can.) thankfully, they have this recipe down pact with hearty seasoned avocado, and the perfect toast to match the consistency. I’m a coffee snob, so of course I ordered a classic cappuccino. It was absolutely perfect. The barista clearly knows what their doing with espresso dialed in to perfection. Combined with the skilled execution of milk and foam, with the classic ratio of 1/3 espresso, 1/3 milk, and 1/3 foam? When I tell you, I was in heaven. (I’ll attach the latte art!) I definitely recommend. I will definitely tell all my friends. Thank you to all the staff that worked on April 10th. You made my morning in DC something to remember!!!"
"Stopped in here after a very long drive for some breakfast and coffee. Ordered a vanilla and cream cold brew and the Farm Fresh breakfast sandwich. Service staff up front were nice enough, but after I ordered my coffee they forgot to make it. I had to go back up after many others received their coffee and I got my food to ask them to make my coffee. Coffee was good, nothing special but I liked it. The real reason I am giving them a poor review is for their food and kitchen service. After receiving my sandwich, I noticed it had only 2 diced sautéed onions, 1 piece of diced pepper, and 1 piece of diced tomato. I returned the sandwich, asking for them to add more on it, and the kitchen came back 30 seconds letting telling me there was already stuff in there. I complained again and the kitchen just slapped a few pickled onions (not the right ingredient) on the sandwich. I was starving so I just ate it, but I did not appreciate the service by the kitchen staff, they clearly did not care, nor did the sandwich have half of what it was supposed to on it. Disappointed."
"I stop here almost every day for my lunch break. They have a great selection of food and drink items with an extremely friendly and personable staff. It has a great cafe atmosphere where you could feel comfortable working or just relaxing. There’s also outside seating for you to take advantage of if the weather is nice. I recommend the hot vanilla chai and the turkey bacon ranch sandwich. The sausage, egg and cheese muffin and the daybreak burrito are my favorite breakfast items if you can get there before 11:30am! It is a little on the pricier side for a cafe (as most things are in DC) but in my opinion it is worth it for the great food and drink, great vibe and phenomenal service!"
"They have a lovely selection of loose leaf teas and offered a mug when they realized I was trying to avoid waste. Thank you for the sustainable option. Generally nice atmosphere and staff."
"Visited in May 2022 for lunch. The food and drinks were pretty tasty but it was on the border for being worth the cost. Perhaps it was because of the high cost of dining in Washington D.C. The drinks were mildly carbonated and refreshing teas with a hint of sweetness. We ordered sandwiches (not pictured 😔) and the serving sizes felt a little small for our liking. The place was busy yet clean and the service was descent. 6/10"
"Just stopped by this shop for my fav (aside from matcha, chai latte). The chai latte is crafted in house (highly appreciate) and isn't the premade ish. The..."
