"When I moved to Capitol Hill, I was blessed to find I live within a block of Jacobs. This coffee shop is cute, cozy with the nicest owner (Jas) and staff. Its quaint inside and has a larger patio with lots of seating outside. The patio is perfect during the fall and spring. It's also a dog and dog owner's dream! They had a little tin of treats for the dogs near the door, my dog knows and drags me to Jacob's anytime we passby. I always get their iced caramel macchiato and my favorite food is the bacon egg and cheese on an english muffin. It's perfect everytime! I love the consistency of this place and always bring my out of town friends here. Do yourself a favor and pop by the next time you're on the Hill."

"Cute neighborhood and a nice spot, but the layout inside is way too cramped—so many tables that we had to walk sideways to get through. They do have a pickup area for call-in orders, which is convenient. Our coffee took about five minutes, which was reasonable, but they got our order wrong—asked for almond milk, and the receipt said whole milk. Not a huge deal, but attention to detail matters. Decent experience, but not sure if we’d rush back. Didn’t try the food so can’t comment on it. Coffee was ok. I’ll give it an extra star based on the patio. If you are in the area it’s worth the stop but wouldn’t venture out of the way for it"

"I’ve had lox bagels and matcha lattes all around the world and this is one of the best I’ve ever tried! The lox bagel had the most exactly right proportions of ingredients that all stayed together to the end, and the matcha was perfectly light and fresh with none of the burned bitterness that other cafes have. They really know what they’re doing here, and they’re all so kind and accommodating while serving you. Do yourself a favor and chill here, it’s SO worth it!"

"This is hands down my favorite coffee shop in all of DC. This coffee shop does not merely serve the best London fog, bagel sandwich, and coffee cake, but this place is warm and cozy. I could live the rest of my life eating here everyday and be content with not missing out on other coffee shops. Maybe a bit dramatic for a Google review, but I stand by it."
