"Kremer is a beautiful restaurant in DC and a truly great experience from start to finish. The space itself is great, warm, and thoughtfully designed, making it a pleasure to sit and enjoy a meal. I ordered the eggs with sliced tomato, and they were simple, fresh, and perfectly prepared, sometimes the simplest dishes done well say the most. The service was excellent, friendly, and professional without being intrusive. Everything flowed smoothly, and I felt genuinely welcomed. Highly recommend Kremer and will definitely be back."

"I had a fantastic brunch at Kramerbooks & Afterwords! The menu had a broad range of brunch options, plenty to choose from without being overwhelming. The drink list included seasonal specialties, and the pumpkin spice latte was outstanding (I even got a second one to go)! My friend ordered the chicken and waffles: crispy chicken, a sauce that nailed the sweet and savory balance, and a waffle with the perfect texture. I went with the Soho omelette, which was both delicious and generously portioned. The sourdough bread it came with was easily the best I’ve ever had, and the potatoes were spot-on. Despite arriving on a Sunday afternoon without a reservation, we were seated immediately. Our waitress, Wendy, was an absolute rockstar. She was managing a busy section but still checked on us at just the right times. We never once had to flag her down. The comfortable, welcoming atmosphere combined with excellent food and service makes this a spot I’ll absolutely be returning to. I can’t wait to try more of the menu!"
