"It can get crazy crowded with kiddies on weekends! During the week, an excellent place to work, do a coffee date. Great coffee, yum hot cocoa, creative seasonal drinks and the empanadas, daily soups always hit the spot. Very welcoming neighborhood atmosphere and the baristas are chill, unpretentious and kind."

"The vibe is amazing! After a long day of fun filled activities! And celebrating a friend’s birthday I just wanted to get a latte and I made it in such a small window of time right before they were about to close! I was greeted by Amaya who was multi- tasking and she immediately stopped what she was doing and said hello what can I get for you today! Of course I say with a smile back! Caramel latte! It was so delicious! I usually come during the week! So it was a pleasure meeting her for the first time! "If you need a coffee shop that is bright and open in addition to serving quality coffee (their roasting area is integrated into the store, so it better be) then you need to come to Petworth's La Coop Coffee. While the food menu is smaller than most places they do have enough variety to compliment any drink on their menu. For tea drinkers they have a nice big selection. If you want a healthy latte they do have fat free milk but unfortunately their house made syrups (YEP…I said HOUSE MADE) are not sugar free. The shop's high ceilings, huge windows and white walls make the seating area feel massive. While the tables are all round and average size, they do have plenty of them AND they have an area with nice padded arm chairs. The fun wall paper on some of the walls gives the seating area a sense of chic whimsy. If you come in to work while you savor their DELICIOUS (did I say in-house roasted…yep) coffee, they have free Wi-Fi and ample electric outlets. Next time you are in Petwork you must stop in and when you leave you will want to grab a bag of their beans to take with you and make at home. And if you are in there on Sundays, make sure Amaya J makes your drink as she does a darn good job."

"This coffee shop is great and beautiful, with very nice staff. However, the staff needs more training on how to make lattes. The coffee wasn’t that great, and you wouldn’t know if you ordered a sweet ice drink. Perhaps a bit more training to maintain consistency with cappuccino and latte would be helpful."
