"This is by far the nicest coffee house I’ve ever been to, and I have been to many across the nation. The atmosphere is friendly, the fit-out is elegant and welcoming. They understand how people actually work in coffee houses. — so they have tables, seating areas, a “working bar” along one set of windows for individuals. Plenty of plugs. Good WiFi. It feels like being in someone’s cozy living room."

"When you talk about the perfect place to get some work done, this might be it. The atmosphere is perfect for working; it's beautifully decorated, has tons of plants, huge windows for great lighting, a plethora of comfortable seating, chargers for phones and laptops, and free wifi. When it comes to the food/snacks it might be a little shaky, however my waffle was good, but my matcha was entirely too sweet; nonetheless, I enjoyed the calm vibes as I got some work done early morning."

"Coffee Shop No. 503 Land of a Thousand Hill Coffee + Social Washington, D.C. - Columbia Heights Like a little kid I peered into the windows as I approached the entrance. I was drawn to by the name of the coffee shop, Land of a Thousand Hills & Social, and excited to try their coffee. Nestled in the corner bottom floor of the modern NOVEL 14th Street Apartments, Land of a Thousand Hills & Social is thoughtfully curated for comfort, socialization and working. Plenty of afternoon light poured through large windows perfectly complimenting the natural tones of desks for independent working, a long conference table for collaborating, and two big comfy tan leather couches for chatting with friends. If you prefer to sip on your coffee out in the sun there was plenty of seating out on a patio. The barista was super friendly and engaging. She crafted a well balanced cortado which I sipped peacefully snuggled up in the corner of one the couches. Enjoying life one cortado at a time!"

"This was my worst cafe experience in DC — shame on this cafe’s management. I don’t fault the workers at all who were kind and clearly understaffed, but the 40-minute wait time for such a simple order was ridiculous. My experience was made worse by the fact that the food was inedible. The roasted potato bowl was just chopped up egg and cold, dry potatoes with a slice of cheese on top. It was pathetic — I’m thankful I got a refund. I usually have a lot of patience at cafes, and I’m not the type of person to leave negative reviews, but I post this with the hopes that the working conditions, service, and quality of food will improve. Regardless, I’m not going back."
