"We were staying in downtown Washington, DC, and were really happy to come across this place — it’s genuinely high quality and truly tasty. There is a great selection of food, and the coffee is excellent overall. One small tip: if you order a large coffee, make sure to ask about customizing the number of espresso shots. I ordered a large coconut milk latte, and it turned out a bit too bitter for my taste because it contained three espresso shots — something I only realized afterward. Aside from that, this is a wonderful spot. It’s a great choice for breakfast or brunch, with a relaxed atmosphere and solid quality across the menu. We would definitely come back and recommend it."

"I was in DC just for one day and chose Maman for breakfast — and I’m so glad I did! The place is cozy, beautifully designed, and full of that charming French café vibe. The presentation of the food is absolutely beautiful — everything looks as good as it tastes. My latte and smash avocado toast with egg were SOOO delicious, and the atmosphere made me want to stay longer. They actually have two locations in the city, which is great because I’d love to visit again next time I’m here. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the city!"
