"It’s been a minute since I went to the @milkbarstore and when I heard they had eggnog cookies, I immediately jumped in the car. Unfortunately, they were sold out when I went but the oatmeal cream cookie quickly erased my disappointment. It’s very rare that you can find an oatmeal cookie without raisins and I was amped that they tasted as good as they looked. To wash it down, I ordered the caramel latte. It was the perfect compliment to the sweetness of the cookie. FYI, believe the hot warning on the coffee sleeve, it’s definitely a justified warning. There are several free parking spaces in front of the store which is very rare for this part of the city."

"I was excited to try this place as for some reason was on a couple list for best desserts in DC area, but unfortunately this place left me extremely disappointed. I talked with staff for a bit and was convinced to try the “Crack Pie” and it was honestly ok a best, but very expensive especially for the portion size. Staff were friendly. Maybe we just tried the wrong things, but we were disappointed by everything. Overall I’d pass on giving it a chance"

I first learnt about milk bar and Christina Tosi after watching her episode on Chef's table years ago, and ever since I had vaguely thought to myself how cool it would be to go and experience her innovative flavours. Imagine my excitement when I bumped into one in DC! I couldn't have asked for a better experience: everything is *objectively* delicious (both the classics and the seasonal treats). Juan was exceptionally kind, warm and welcoming, and made sure I had the most fantastic experience. I left with in a daze, with a full belly and a big fat smile on my face. "Honestly kind of trash….. I had something from milk at a target once and it was great. But the slice of cake I got today….absolutely disgusting. It’s dry and the frosting is weird and chemically flavored."

"The place had a relaxed vibe, not too loud, and it didn’t feel rushed even though there were a few people waiting. We ordered a mix of desserts, and everything came out looking fresh. The flavors were solid overall, nothing overly sweet, which I actually liked. One item was a little smaller than expected, but it still tasted good. Staff was polite and answered our questions without acting annoyed."
