"This is the one place that I can say that I patronized often during my teenage years AND patronized many years later in adulthood. Over the years, this place would become my favorite greasy spoon, diner type place for breakfast in the area. I visited today and became nostalgic.Seeing the staff was like seeing old friends. I can say that the service is still good as well as the food and coffee. Murry & Pauls shined in the 80s and 90s when I went there. They still shine to this day. May God continue to bless Murry & Pauls and the staff."

"What a neighborhood gem! For a quick bite with an excellent 1970s diner vibe, come here! Do not expect fancy. But do expect authentic classic breakfast with fast service and lots of locals. Cash only, but very affordable especially for DC. The pancakes are delicious and huge! Tip well they deserve it!"

"Great find!! We were lucky enough to get a table right away. There were a lot of people standing around but they do a lot of take out. The menu is basic but that’s a good thing! The western omelette was delicious and HUGE! The chocolate chip pancakes are delicious. The coffee was ok - needed a bit more flavor though (I drink mine black). Service was friendly. There’s definitely a neighborhood feel here. I’ll definitely come back!"
