from Google"Love this place and their vegan choices! Enjoyed the red red and jollof rice - I also asked for a side of pepper sauce which was delicious to add! Will def be a go to for us!"
"Exceptional food—by far the best food and most interesting meal I’ve had in DC. Family owned business that makes everything from scratch, made with deep cultural pride and a passionate commitment to the freshest, highest quality ingredients The food took a little while to arrive after ordering, but it was clear this was because everything was prepared freshly from scratch and believe me, it was worth the wait 10/10 would go again and recommend to anyone I know Only downside was the dine-in area was a bit low-budget and not airconditioned, but again well worth it for the food"
"Wow this is in my new weekly rotation. Soya with beef 10/10, Egusi with fufu 10/10. Prices were reasonable too. I could taste the love cooked into every bite. Recommend 1000000x"
"Had the blackened chicken over jolof rice w/ salad to go, and it was amazing. Generous portions and amazing taste."
"This was the first time I had the opportunity to try West African cuisine. It was incredible. I got jollof rice, wakye, plantains, and the kutumeri + egusi with fufu. Everything was so rich, flavorful and filling. I'm sad there isn't anywhere like it where I'm from, but this is definitely a go-to spot for me whenever I'm in the area."
