I must say that the flatbread was really good and very well seasoned. I was surprised by the style of the chicken wings. I didn’t think it would be a whole wing. "I love Otis.@12. It’s a new Brookland quality family spot and I highly recommend it. The menu is unusually eclectic — take a tour of Italy, America, and the far East. You’ll enjoy every stop. It is actually the best Asian food in the neighborhood now, since BangPop moved on. We love their Asian menu and order that often. Prices are relatively high but the portions are enormous and more than make up for it. The black bean chicken, for instance, is over twenty dollars but easily feeds both me and my husband for dinner, with some left over. The owner is a great guy, very professional, and very present. You can tell he puts a lot of effort and love into this establishment. Don’t be turned away by the… somewhat bewildering name (why not Otis Cafe at 12th?? One might ask), or the simple ambience.
