What People Are Saying
from Google"Best cocktails and service on H street, hands down. Been here twice and will definitely visit again. The painkiller and pisco sour are standouts. They also have some delicious wings! Would recommend to anyone visiting the corridor."
"We happened upon this place when we were in the area after dinner. It was a Saturday night and it was surprisingly pretty quiet when we arrived, which I think was around 9pm. We sat at the bar near the back and were immediately greeted. The bartenders were super kind and quick. They chatted with us, but didn't linger. It was a great mix. They also ensured our drinks, including our water, were always full. They also brought out some snacks (on the house) for us. Music was on, but not too loud. We stayed for awhile, and pretty soon we looked up and were like, oh my gosh, this place is packed! Pretty soon there were people everywhere and it was so loud. We decided at that point we wanted to head out, but the bartenders still made sure to say goodbye. We will definitely be back when we are back in DC. Great vibes, atmosphere, and service!"
"Talk about a hidden gem! GREAT spot for drinks and small bites. The painkiller is SO tasty! I’ve never had such a smooth frozen drink - it literally tastes like vacation! The tots were SO good too. Everything really was awesome. Service was great - Annie was so kind and welcoming and attentive. We will definitely be back."
"Fairly underwhelming experience. Limited spirits and cocktails, the chicken wings I tried were bland and greasy, and it was pretty dead on a Friday night."
"Had an awesome night at The Haymaker DC. Started with a Pisco Sour that was absolutely spot-on — super balanced and one of the best I’ve had anywhere. Then I had a classic Sidecar that was perfect too — great deep red color, fresh lemon, just the right amount of kick. I also grabbed the loaded tater tots with bacon and melted cheese — they were great."
