"Warka Coffee is not in the "heart of Capitol Hill," but it does offer up close views of the U.S. Capitol. Opened in August 2025, I popped into Warka Coffee since I love a new coffee shop. Here's my experience. 1) Coffee: I ordered a large latte and it was good. It's darker than I usually enjoy, but it was still tasty. I'd order it again. 2) Food: They have breakfast and lunch items and a full glass box of pastries from Fresh Baguette. The pumpkin croissant was unique and good. 3) Service: The staff are kind and passionate about what they built. 4) Space: It's a cozy place with lots of seating. They keep it clean and organized. 5) Area: Since it's not in a highly residential neighborhood, most of the nearby street parking is paid."

"Cute shop with creative lattes. Moroccan latte was especially good. It’s a little cozy with about 15 spaces to sit between couches and counters. The self ordering kiosk makes things easier for takeout drinks when ordering to-go."

"What a beautiful shop with delicious coffee, a serene atmosphere and the best customer service with a smile. I ordered a Moroccan latte, croissant, banana bread and a Cro’gel - croissant bagel mix - this was the most flavorful little delight. The eats were good but you know what makes it even better - the impact the owners are making in Ethiopia - right where their coffee is sourced. This is a beautiful shop where you can stop in and grab your java, meet friends or sit back and get work done with high seating looking at the city go by or nestled in one of their comfy chairs. Go + Enjoy! I will definitely be back."

"We had the smoked caramel iced latte with the avocado toast and nutty banana toast. The coffee has such a nice flavor, and very smooth! Food tasted good as well and there wasn't much of a wait to get our order. We really loved the cozy and homey ambiance, lots of natural light and greenery. Cute, unique spot with friendly staff!"

"The cream cheese and salmon toast was spot on. Delicious and filling. The toast was thick. Nice gentle, crunch, soft interior. No crumbs. I had the drip coffee. Not bitter. Smooth. Quiet jazz played. Counter servers were attentive and easy to talk to. Very relaxing start of day."
