from Google & Yelp"Visiting from out of town and found this place from a Google search for local breakfast. We were very happy with our choice. They were very busy when we arrived but we were greeted almost immediately and apologized to for the wait. Both young ladies were very cheerful and friendly. I had the hot Milk & Honey latte with oatmilk and a sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich on sourdough. Do yourself a favor and add the hot honey! My husband had the same sandwich on an everything bagel along with a Dirty Chai. Both sandwiches were delicious and we plan on making another trip back before heading home! Second trip was just as good! We placed our order online before heading there since we were getting it to go. My husband tried the breakfast burrito and said it is very good! I ordered the same sandwich again but with cheddar cheese this time. I also had a pistachio latte which was delicious!"
"Delicious salad and we had the milk and honey latte, also delicious. The gals working there are very friendly. The decor was a bit lacking and it was chilly/cold inside- it's a good spot/location, and more café decor and an electric fireplace would make it far more inviting! Overall, still a good spot to check out."
"I really did not want to write this review but I pass this café daily and can’t get over this experience. The first time I visit this shop around 7am I ordered an açaí bowl, it was delicious however the manager looked like she did not want to be there and did not smile and was a bit unpleasant. I tried to not let that ruin my morning and enjoyed my bowl. I went again on Thursday last week 1/1/26 around 7 again and ordered a vanilla matcha latte and had a really good experience with that employee. She was kind, served with a smile, she and her co worker really looked like they enjoyed working there. This was the best Matcha I’ve had in a long time. Finally Friday last week 1/2/26 I showed up around 7 and the manager was there this time. Again no smile, I ordered a matcha latte and a muffin and I remember her repeating Matcha latte before I paid. When I got my drink I took a sip not realizing at the time that it was not matcha latte because I took a sip of the foam top. When I got to work I took another sip and it was so bitter. Instead of a matcha latte I had a vanilla latte. I quickly called to let her know that I ordered matcha and she gave me something else. Instead of owning up to her mistake she told me that is what I ordered and I that I can come back for an exchange or refund. I apologized because I wanted the matcha I paid for and was afraid with her attitude that she would tamper with my drink, by the way I know for sure I did not order a latte because I do not drink coffee. I came back around noon to get my matcha. I saw her go into the kitchen area before I opened the door. She came out momentarily and I reminded her of our conversation. She then made it seem like she was about to make the matcha and then changed her direction and told mw that they had just ran out of matcha and gave me a refund for the drink. I was really upset. In all, I feel like the manager just did not want to serve me and her attitude is not something anyone should encounter first thing in the morning. I enjoy matcha from chain coffee shops, but I love small business more. My experience with this manager discourage me from coming to this shop again. I am new to sussex county and this treatment does not feel good at all. I am sharing my experience in case someone else has experienced the same from the manager at this shop. I will be supporting a different local shop for now on. Thanks"
"We were excited to stop in and try this new local coffee shop. We were looking to have a cappuccino near our house early in the morning. We got there around 7 AM and there was no one waiting to order. We weren’t greeted by the only barista when we came in, even though there was no line, we waited just for her to acknowledge us and say good morning. We waited and still no greeting. So service unfortunately we can’t rave about. It didn’t get any better when we ordered our coffees. No smile, no good morning. We asked her if the coffee was organic and she didn’t know and had to go and ask in the back. The coffee was hot and organic and very fresh. The cappuccino was so so and didn’t have any cocoa powder or cinnamon on top of the phone like either she forgot it or she just didn’t know how to make a cappuccino. The atmosphere was quaint and there was table seating enough for at least 20 people and they had two hanging chairs from the 1970s which looked really inviting until you got close enough to sit in them and they were filthy dirty with stains on them. At 7 AM I would’ve expected all the tables to be cleaned and cleared yet. There was a dish with leftover food laying on one of the tables. The bathrooms were clean and there’s only one of them. There’s plenty of parking. We didn’t try the food because the service was so terrible. We were disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend."
"I was shocked to find this hidden gem while visiting family in the area. This place is amazing. Food is creative, fresh, and so dang good you'll want to come back multiple times a day. I got the Sunset acai bowl, The creme brulee donut [warmed], and the banna nut cold brew. If I was a full time local-- I would be broke being here everyday. This is a woman owned and woman run business! The owner is sweet, humble, and she is pumping passion into her business and local community. The owner shared that all of her pastries are made by another local woman business owner [Skye] too. Run! Do not walk! Get here by car, boat, electric bike-- get here-- you will not be disappointed!"
