"I was just getting off the Amtrak train after a very long trip from Atlanta to Wilmington DE. My bestie suggested we eat here because it was one of her favorites in the area. As we entered I realized I missed living in the North. North America is known for diners, pubs and sports bars. We went here the perfect time in the evening as the sun was setting. We were seated in a nice booth that had some good privacy. We also could look out the window at the pond adjacent to the property. Beautiful atmosphere. The server quickly came to take our drink amd appetizer orders. I do not remember the name of the drink it was so good I slurped it down. We ordered some wings, crispy and a burger. I could immediately tell that the burger was handmade and not pre-made meat. It was so fresh and chargrilled. Loved it. Everything was good"

"Was in town for a business trip from Idaho and happened to stumble on this AMAZING place while driving by and HAD to check it out. Didn’t see any reviews or anything but the gorgeous location left me wanting to see what they had to offer. Wednesday night I had a Guinness and the blackened salmon (AMAZING) so naturally I had to come back for more. Saw they had prime rib on Thursdays so of course I had to come back. Let me tell you I’ve never been so good happy before in my LIFE. Bought the cook a beer and told him that this was the best meal I’ve had in years! Let alone the best prime rib over EVER had. The staff is on the ball and quick to swing by making sure everything is perfect. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ENOUGH the vibe the music the wait staff, chefs kiss! Idaho native first time in Delaware and wish I could come back sooner then my wallet will allow 😉 McGlynns you got my love all the way from the west coast keep it up!"

"Nice place in a historic looking building by the water with plenty of ambiance. Great menu with many options. I had the blackened salmon BLT with homemade chips (Your Choice of sides with several options & substitutes) and potstickers as an appetizer. Everything was tasty!"

Enjoyed the Hot roast beef McGlynns style with a draft special. Thanks for accommodating us on the patio with our pooch. SnickleFritz's favorite place to dine out in Dover.
