"Good evening Google Family. I visited for the first time today after an incredible cardio workout at the Edge Fitness Club in Christiana. I needed some items after returning from my trip to Locust Grove, GA. This is my first time visiting and will not be my last time. I found everything that was on my list. However, when selecting regular bananas, not organic #4011 product number, I discovered no ripe all yellow bananas. Only green or not very ripe bananas. I need ripe bananas for my smoothies, so they will taste sweet and good. Hopefully the next time that I visit, there will be yellow bananas. I am not interested in organic produce. I prefer nonorganic produce. I cannot comment about the cleanliness of the rest room since I did not visit today. I notice this particular Shop Rite has no bags, meaning plastic bags, I believe there is a plastic bag BAN here. I had my reusuable bags in tow. I checked out at self checkout and there I set up my reusable bags in the bag stand. I scanned all of my items and paid by card. Another smooth transaction. They asked if I wanted cash back, however I did not need, since I visited my bank before arriving here. A good vibe here and I would certainly return again. I enjoyed the organization and cleanliness of this particular Shop Rite. I felt a good vibe here. Everyone that I met was helpful and friendly. A good experience here. I spent $59.75 today. "I've worked for Shoprite in the past and am familiar with most of their security. But after over 20 years of shopping at this particular ShopRite I was accused of stealing. This day I was stop at the door and was asked for my receipt. I replied I threw it in the trash. And proceeded to walk back to the area where the trash can was to retrieve the receipt. In the meantime of me doing so, their RoboCop followed me and replied "If you had a receipt why are you using this exit? Before I even was able to even produce the receipt. As if I was not only stealing but lying as well. Without letting me answer he scolded "This is not an exit and you don't go out this exit!" That's when I let him know I was going to take pleasure in seen egg on his face once I retrieve the receipt for scolding and demeaning way I was spoken to. Along with the "whatever attitude" when I even tried to explain. What's back to my area of checkout, the assisting cashier let him know I did not steal and paid for it all and confirmed I threw the receipt in the trash. Still they shamed the cashier as she went through the trash and retrieve the receipt. I guess they didn't believe her either. The end game was me seening egg dripping off the robocops face, and I aproved. The cost of my items was approximately $13. Never again ShopRite you just lost a customer of over 20 years along with my family and friends. I worked for this company in the past for no more than a few months because of the fact they are such a horrible employer who care absolutely nothing about their employees when it comes to pay, benefits, health care, off time and obtaining full-time employment. And now you can add just a horrible grocery store overall! Profit over customers and employees seems to be what ShopRite is about. I live directly across from ShopRite but from now on I'll take my business to food Lion just up the street.. please and thank you!"

"I very disappointed today. As I was checking out an older man in front of me had 29 items…mind you it was like two registers open. But because he had more than 25 items. The lady that was helping self checkout told him he had to pay for his 25 items. Then get back in line to pay for remaining 4 like are you serious??? He couldn’t believe it and i couldnt either. No one was Even waiting in line for self checkout. Not saying she need to be fired because it’s hard out here but they need to retrain some of the staff. Won’t catch me there anymore…."

"I don't like it because most of their registers are closed all the time even the self-checkout ones are not all open. They have this habit of closing off one door that you can't get in or out of. So you park next to a door but then it turns out that door is locked and you can't get out. Random stuff that just doesn't make for an ideal shopping experience."
