"We were hired by our client to provide decor. The 2nd floor was perfect for an event. The staff was great as well."

"I can imagine Timothy’s of Newark is a great place to go for beer and finger food to watch a game on TV, or in the summer sit out on the porch which hangs over a small stream. Today, five of us started out our meal with the Mini Crab Cake starter, which were pretty good. Unfortunately, some of our table’s orders were not followed as requested. For example, the burgers might’ve been asked to be cooked rare, but they were cooked medium, and one of our guests asked for tater tots, but got french fries instead. I had high hopes for the taco salad in a taco chip bowl, but it wasn’t much of a salad in the end, since it was so smothered with chicken, and lacked veggies. All and all, quality of the food was a bit of a disappointment, and the music was much too loud, which made it hard to have a normal conversation. Other than that, the atmosphere was nice and the service was great."

"This place is a very solid sports bar. The service was outstanding, food is great and atmosphere is classic sports bar. The loaded fries were great! Sampler tray gave you lots of choices ( see pic) and they were ok. Crap soup was very crabby and done well! My Cajun southwest salad was good with tasty chicken but they were out of the Cajun dressing so I didn’t get the best. My friend ordered a great looking sirloin sandwich!"

"My honest opinion is the food was decent. We were there in the evening for dinner. It was extremely loud making ot hard to talk without shouting. It felt more like a bar in the dining area than a restaurant. The service was ok but felt rushed and that could have been from the noise. If I go back, it will probably be in the afternoon to give ot another try."

"Haven’t been in Timothy‘s for about 20 years. we used to go there all the time for lunch from work. Back then Timothy‘s was the place to go great food great service. I went there this past weekend my godson had his wedding reception there. 20 years later the staff is still exceptional the food was exceptional the atmosphere was great. Since this was a late morning reception what was unique about this was the had a breakfast buffet which was pretty cool. They had a fruit bowl chip beef gravy pancakes sausage links scrambled eggs fried potatoes. On the one side wall they had the buffet table was from kinda nice because when you look out the windows you saw the beautiful creek I’m streaming down on the side of the building. We were on the second floor for the reception and downstairs was the restaurant itself again I said it for 20 years later everything was really nice beautiful and I know my godson and his wife really enjoyed everything was going on that day. If I could Great more than five stars on this restaurant I would. definitely check the restaurant out."
