"I’m sorry, but ain’t nothing Caribbean or Jamaican about the food at this place. My boyfriend and I went there earlier today and they had not one patty, not beef nor chicken nor did they have oxtails ready. We were excited to try the oxtail pizza so the girl said it would be about 20 minutes for it to be ready. We said OK no problem. 20 minutes went by. We came back inside after sitting in the car to wait then she said it would be another hour for the oxtail pizza because the oxtail was so fatty and she wanted to make sure it was cooked properly so we said never mind with that she offered to do a half jerk chicken pizza with red sauce and the other half curry chicken on the pizza with no red sauce at no additional charge since we already paid for the oxtail pizza and we waited so long for it. She then comes out with my order, which was the jerk chicken combo with cabbage and rice and what I thought would be rice and peas, but it was actually rice and beans, Spanish style not Caribbean or Jamaican. Wasn’t nothing jerk about that chicken it tasted like regular baked/pulled chicken but FLAVORLESS and that cabbage was so SOGGY 🤮. I don’t know if it was oil or what but it was soggy. I was so disgusted. I forgot to take a picture of it. However, the picture below is the picture of what my boyfriend‘s $23 pizza came out to look like we drove away and checked his pizza in the car. We were so upset and disappointed. We drove back and requested our money back because the IG and Tik Tok vids are NOTHING like the REAL thing they serving people smh. There was nothing Jamaican or Caribbean about none of the food. The food is tasteless 🤦🏾‍♀️😒🤮Please save your time and don’t waste your money I’m sorry, but I had to let people know. "I usually don’t leave harsh food reviews and love supporting small businesses, but this was very disappointing. After a long wait and drive home, the food was not enjoyable. The yams tasted canned and were the only thing I could eat. The mac and cheese had no flavor, the shredded curry chicken was extremely salty, and the yellow rice tasted boxed and bland. The customer service was great, which I appreciated. I just wish the food matched the service."

"I should start off by saying I visit this restaurant on a Friday and they were sold out. They put my name on the waiting list to start back up at 6:30 never received the call. Returning back on Saturday, I tried again around 1 o’clock and they were busy and I had to wait 25 minutes before I can even order when I did place my order. I waited another 25 minutes being asked, did you place your order and I said yes! He began preparing my meal, they announced across the restaurant they were sold out of food again so all the customers that were in line had to leave. I took my food home to eat my oxtail, mac & cheese, collard greens, and sweet potatoes. The only thing that was worth The hassle was the oxtail and rice. I will say the gentleman apologize gave us a free drink, but however, the customer service of preparing enough food for people that come through the restaurant they may need to seek help on quantity so that they are prepared for Service like I said that mac & cheese no thanks collard greens OK but no thanks but that oxtail and rice was jumping. I went back again on Thursday because I told you the oxtail was very good (jumpin’) and the cabbage!"

"Well I'll say this .. if your not into traditional Jamaican food this is that . Its fitting for newark.. the jerk chicken is like a crock pot chicken if I had know it wasn't bone in chicken I wouldn't of ordered it I would of skipped the order , first time I have run into a shredded crock pot type jerk chicken. Like I said its non traditional.. the mac n cheese has lots of flavors going on kinda gave me hints of bbq sauce.. its non traditional and very cheesy not a baked type Mac.. the oxtail pizza needs work .. its flimsy and very light on the oxtail, well because you couldn't pick it up .. Beef patty was good but we didn't come for that .."

"Well I on a Thursday after work Manu, I get off at 4:30. I live in Felton Delaware. We get there the place is closed the young man that everybody mentioned came and open the door and said he’ll take us in mind. He look like he was eating a bowl of food my husband ordered the curry, chicken, candy, yams, and cola. I ordered the beef patty, oxtails and macaroni cheese sandwich. The curry chicken do not taste like chili chicken yams, or spoiled the collard greens spoiled the mac & cheese was old. The oxtails look like they took two pieces of oxtails, and they ripped it up and put it in a beef patty. You could tell a patty set up the owls. The patties was old. This can’t be legal how they selling food to people. I’m gonna call the health department cause I only taste the food and I still got sick. Will I be back hell no(fired the cook) I gave it a one star because the young man was really really nice the inside of the place look nice but only about 15 people could sit in there other than that everything else about this place is trash"
