"Agave in Rehoboth Beach is a standout spot, especially if you genuinely appreciate tequila and mezcal and not just overly sweet margaritas. Their tequila selection is deep and thoughtfully curated, ranging from crisp blancos to reposados, añejos, extra añejos, cristalinos, plus a solid mezcal lineup. It’s obvious the bar program is intentional and built by people who truly know agave spirits. The La Casa margaritas are a must try. The version made with fresh orange and cristalino tequila is next level, smooth, perfectly balanced, and not overly sweet. It lets the tequila shine instead of masking it, which is rare and refreshing. The food is just as impressive. Everything I’ve had has been excellent, but the surf and turf burrito and the blue cheese steak quesadilla are absolute standouts and worth ordering every time. The atmosphere is clean, modern, and lively without feeling chaotic, and the staff is knowledgeable and happy to talk tequila if you’re into that. Whether you’re sipping something neat or pairing great food with a crafted margarita, Agave delivers. Easily one of the best spots in Rehoboth for agave lovers."

"I read the reviews before we went and we had lower expectations based on that. I truly don’t know what people are complaining about it. It was ranked lower than some of other places we tried and those ended up being disappointing but this really exceeded our expectations. Atmosphere. Beautiful well-decorated, thoughtful even down to the trash cans in the women’s bathrooms. Food fantastic. I had the pull pork tacos and my husband husband and the shrimp street tacos. Both excellent. We had a guacamole sampler with the shrimp, apple and tomato garlic guacamole and we licked the bowls clean. Highly recommend. The drinks were also well made and tasty. Others have commented on the price and I have to say for similar dishes it is a little on the pricey side for the food and drinks so keep that in mind. Service was good. Our food was timed well and our waitress checked in with us regularly. Overall we were really happy and arguably one of the best places we ate at on our trip so far. Get the guac sampler- it’s amazing!"

"There was a really long wait time, which we understood because we didn't do reservations. The food was great our waitress was great, but the hostesses they have here are absolutely horrible. Both of them had such a rotten s otty arruide we wanted to walk out, but thanks to the house manager there that night stayed. Over all after we got it is was good. The drinks are deffentently good there. Little pricey but we enjoyed it"

"If you are looking for upscale Mexican cuisine then this is your place. The decor is very nice and modern. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. The service is very good. They are attentive and happy which are always great signs. The food is great and the portions are large. Be sure to try the single order of Nachos as an appetizer. Just be sure you are hungry. The single order is huge. The Blue Cheese and Steak Quesadilla was outstanding. A great combination of flavors. This restaurant is a nice place to go for a celebration or for just a nice night out with your loved ones. It is also dog friendly which is another plus."

"Atmosphere was fun! It’s a large place. The food was good- I got taquitos and the queso appetizer. I don’t think I’d get the queso appetizer again- it didn’t have much flavor. Oscar was our waiter and he was super friendly, knowledgeable, and great at his job!"
