The staff here are fantastic—always friendly, helpful, and quick to assist. Even though there’s no self-checkout, there are plenty of employees on hand to get you through the checkout line swiftly. The bakery is amazing, and I can always rely on the meat and seafood departments to have exactly what I need. While the selection of some staple foods can be limited, they always carry the popular brands, and I never feel like I’m missing out on the essentials. The store is open daily from 8 am to 9 pm, which is very convenient. Overall, The Fresh Market is a great choice for anyone who values quality, freshness, and a more enjoyable shopping experience. Highly recommend!"

"I’ve always enjoyed shopping at Fresh Market in Rehoboth Beach and have appreciated their unique product selection—many items you simply can’t find anywhere else in the area. That’s why my most recent visit was disappointing. While the quality and variety remain excellent, the cleanliness of the store has noticeably declined. The first thing I noticed was the strong odor at the entrance, likely coming from the trash can near the handbaskets. The baskets themselves were visibly dirty, and the trash can appeared not to have been cleaned in quite some time. Inside, the produce department had buildup on the shelving, and I encountered several areas in the store with unpleasant smells. It felt less like a one-time issue and more like something that may have been overlooked for a while. I’m not writing this to complain, but because I truly care about this store and want to see it reflect the reputation Fresh Market is known for. This location serves a community that values quality—and historically, Fresh Market has delivered that. With more consistent cleaning and attention to sanitation, I believe the location could return to being the wonderful shopping experience it has always been. I hope management will take this feedback constructively. I would love to see this store at its best again."

"First visit to the store was to pick up a fresh turkey I had ordered for Thanksgiving. The store is significantly smaller than I had expected, much smaller than the typical Wegmans or Whole Foods. The turkey was absolutely delicious, we're extremely satisfied with it. One odd thing is that the pick up process involved first checking in a staffer who actually pulled a printed hard copy to verify the order, despite notification emails providing a QR code and a staffer standing there with a handheld scanner... But it didn't take too long. Will absolutely order fresh birds from them in future."

"I’ve never understood why shoes are required to shop at this location. I’ve also never had anyone greet me with a smile at the checkout, so I couldn’t tell whether I was being judged for wearing casual clothes or if that’s just their normal behavior. I only shop here for the bakery section, which always has delicious and fresh cakes. Anyway, 5 Stars for the cakes, not for the store. P.S. To the manager of this location: your store is not listed in the drop-down selection of the guest care form because the drop-down list for “State” doesn’t include an option for Delaware, which seems a bit odd."
