"Fabulous Strip! What do you get when you mix a bit of the Hamptons, a dash of Beverly Hills, a pinch of Champs Elysee, a drop of Via Della Mercede and you top it off with a twist of 5Th Ave, NY? You get Rehoboth Beach, that’s what you get! And that’s exactly how I felt when I saw the strip. Who would have thought, a place like this, with a name only the locals can pronounce, would be so high end in Delaware. I said, Delaware... hello... it’s Delaware, not St. Bart! When I was in my 20’s I went whitewater rafting in Delaware and I don’t remember passing through any towns with even a slight resemblance to Rehoboth, Lewes or even Dewey —which by the way, in comparison to Rehoboth, Dewey, appears to be a lower end version without lower end prices. And nothing is more appropriate for that comparison than seeing the trolleys. In Rehoboth, the Trolleys are so cute, just what you would expect. In Dewey, the Trolleys are being pulled by an old work van which they attach to a hitch after they cut-off the Trolley’s front end. At first, it’s quite funny to see, but then, you kind see how that it’s so well fitting to the whole, hobo-bohemian-style look you will see, while patrolling or skateboarding your way up & down the strip of Dewey’s Beach. I wish I had taken pictures of the trolleys instead I just got pictures of items always left outside, even during rain storms... weird!"
