"This is the best Carmela coffee I’ve been to! The coffee is always amazing in flavor. The staff goes above and beyond. This location is able to do latte art on top in the foam. They did seashells in one coffee and sea turtles on another coffee. Very pretty and tasty! Their food is great too!"

"I visited recently, but the food didn’t quite live up to expectations. The coffee was way too dark roast — not my style, though some might enjoy it that way. The salmon and avocado toast was hard as a rock and lacked flavor. The strawberry pancake was dry like paper; I left it because it didn’t taste fresh. It looks great visually, but once you taste the food, it falls short. A place with potential, but the food quality definitely needs improvement."

"I had the most delightful experience here this morning! Very kind and friendly man gave me a free Brazilian cheese bread that was absolutely delicious. Then I was blessed with the best matcha I’ve ever had, an apple butter matcha that I hope turns into a permanent item. 1000000/10 experience will be back!"

"was my second disappointing experience here. After the first, I vowed never to return, but I gave in because the food is decent and it’s conveniently close to my job. I called in an order for avocado toast and asked for the egg fried hard. At first, I was told it only comes poached, but after I explained I’d had it fried before, they agreed. When I picked it up, it still had a poached egg. The staff insisted the yolk was hard, so I took it—but when I checked, it was super runny. I brought it back, and after waiting, they replaced it with a hard-boiled egg. Still not what I asked for, but at this point I was already running late for work and decided to settle. To my surprise, the egg was ICE cold. I had to look around for hidden cameras because surely, I was being pranked! I immediately returned and asked for a refund. This experience shows a real lack of attentiveness and/or communication on their part, which is sad and frustrating—especially for such a simple request."
