"Don’t miss this special cafe where the locals love to go! The owner here is hands on and is very personable with the guests which makes you feel like part of the family. The food is awesome and very economical. Some of my favs are the chock full Meat lovers omelet, their Reuben, and awesome onion rings to name a few. Hard to choose between the seasoned home fries or hash browns as both are so good. Their coffee is very good too. Lots of daily specials. They have an all you can eat Fish fry on Fridays during certain seasons of the year. This place is cash only so bring some money and have a great breakfast or lunch!"

"I eat here quite a few times a week. As it’s close to where I live and I like to support small businesses . Sometimes I get the food and it’s great. I don’t know who was in the kitchen today but my Blt wasn’t good. The bacon was burnt and one side of the sandwich had no bacon on it despite me getting xtra bacon. I do that bc of the inconsistency when I order here. Like I said sometimes it’s great and other times it’s not. I work in restaurants so I get it. But the sandwich I got today was one of the worst I’ve had there. It’s a small breakfast place and they get busy so I get it. There just needs to be more consistency in the food that’s coming out of the kitchen. No one wants burnt crumbled bacon on their sandwich . I couldn’t even eat it."

"Came to Katie's for a Saturday breakfast before grocery shopping. When we arrived it was packed and they found seating for us quickly. It was very obvious that there were many regulars but I don't feel like the staff treated us any differently. The staff was keeping up with the rush with smiles on their faces and helping each other out. They were all so kind and made the experience better. Now for the food! The french toast was so good it was like my mom made it! Bacon was crispy and eggs were cooked as ordered! The home fries were cooked perfectly with nice seasoning. We were at the counter by the kitchen and everything that came out look and smelled really good. The menu definitely has options for everyone!! The food was very comforting and great quality for a good price. The staff were all very friendly, funny, and attentive. We will definitely be back!"

"Great breakfast place, delicious homestyle food, affordable pricing. Other reviews complained feeling like an outsider, but I absolutely loved that the servers and manager/owner knew so many patrons by name. It shows that they have a loyal customer base and they take the time to know their regular diners. Makes me want to go back again and again. And they were just as friendly to us. Thankful I found this great place. ."

"First time and had a wonderful experience today. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Tried the club sandwich and was allowed to get rye, wheat, and sourdough breads for the triple decker party in my mouth experience. All ingredients were fresh and well balanced. I will come back to try other menu items!"
